WE DENOUNCE AGGRESSIONS FROM THE PARAMILITARY GROUP CIOAC-HISTORICA , THE GREEN ECOLOGICAL PARTY, THE NATIONAL ACTION PARTY, AND THE INSTITUTIONAL REVOLUTIONARY PARTY AGAINST EZLN SUPPORT BASES

As educators, artists, workers and students of the Zapatista “Little Schools,” our hearts are broken for what has happened. We express our anger and indignation against the deliberate and violent ambush against the Zapatista communities.

On May 2, 2014, in the Zapatista territory of La Realidad, the group CIOAC-Historica, planned and executed an attack on Zapatista territory. A school and clinic was destroyed, 15 people were ambushed and injured, and Galeanowas murdered.

We realize that the Mexican media has distorted the truth attributing this as a dispute over resources. This has been, in fact, a planned and deliberate ambush with specific goals…One, to kill compañeroGaleano.

We strongly denounce the attacks against our innocent brothers and sisters.

We denounce the deliberate destruction of the clinic, school, and property of the Zapatistas.

We denounce the disinformation from the press!

To denounce these aggressions and in support of our brothers and sisters Zapatistas we strongly encourage that we come together to declare:

STOP THE AGGRESSIONS AGAINST BROTHERS, SISTERS, TEACHERS-VOTANES AND ZAPATISTA SUPPORT BASES.

IF YOU HURT THE ZAPATISTAS YOU HURT ALL OF US!

STOP AGGRESSIONS AGAINST ZAPATISTA SUPPORT BASES IMMEDIATELY!
